Load & Form (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at loadandform.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create a membership, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a billing confirmation and the last four digits of your card for your reference.
Usage data. Our hosting platform (Ghost) collects standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. This data is used for security and to understand how the site is used in aggregate.
Communications. If you contact us via the contact form or email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and to improve our support.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your membership account
- To process payments and send billing receipts
- To deliver lesson content and send membership-related emails (sign-in links, renewal notices)
- To respond to support requests
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the site:
- Ghost — our membership and content platform. Hosts member accounts and content delivery.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Vimeo — video hosting. Lesson videos are streamed via Vimeo. Their privacy policy is at vimeo.com/privacy.
- Mailgun — transactional email delivery (sign-in links, receipts). Emails are sent from loadandform.com addresses via Mailgun’s infrastructure.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in to your account and to remember your display preferences (light or dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Vimeo may set its own cookies when you play a lesson video; these are governed by Vimeo’s privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership and request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes (e.g., billing records, which we retain for seven years).
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@loadandform.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never passes through our servers.
8. Children
Load & Form is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
